Are Shocklands standard legal?
As it stands right now, it’s incredibly unlikely that we’ll see shocklands reprinted this year. All 10 of them are currently Standard legal, and they won’t be out until the end of the year around October.
Why are Shocklands so expensive?
The cost is increased as well becuase of the shock lands’ synergy with the “fetch lands”. These are lands that can grab other lands. The shock lands are the only nonbasic lands with basic land types in their card type, so they are the only non-baic land that the fetch lands can fetch you.
Do shock lands count as basic lands?
The “dual” lands and “shock” lands do not have the Basic supertype. They have basic land types, or subtypes, but those are different. Therefore, a Bayou cannot be found using Terramorphic Expanse’s activated ability. Only lands with the Basic supertype (printed on the type line of the card) can be found.
Are the pathway lands good?
Pathway lands should be compared to other lands that always come in uuntapped. They are way better than basics. Fetch lands don’t need to be able fetch every land, it will already have targets in shocks. But if your deck has a number of basics,, pathways are good to include.
Will Shock lands be reprinted?

Will Shock lands go down in price?
