… I see the pre-sale date for series X is now official for Sep 22nd. I was ready to put down my deposit and looking to see what other options I had. I didn’t realize until coming on here, looking to see if there would be a Halo edition console, that Halo wouldn’t be released along with the new system and not until 2021.
Is there going to be Halo Infinite expansion?
That said, if 343 want to build Infinite with large full-game sized expansions every 2 years or so, I could totally see them releasing a custom console along the way. I’d love to see one designed like a Forerunner obelisk, with parts hard matt grey, and sections that are transparent with a blue glow inside.
