Can SoulSilver trade with White?
Pokémon sent from Pokémon SoulSilver to Pokémon White cannot be sent back to Pokémon SoulSilver! To transfer pokémon from Pokémon SoulSilver to Pokémon White, go to Route 15 in Pokémon White and go into the Poké Transfer Lab. When you are informed that the pokémon can’t be sent back, choose Yes.

1 Answer. There are no trade restrictions between gen 4 games. I have traded from HG and SS to Platinum. You would need 2 DS consoles and then just head to the Union Room, found in the Pokemon Centre, on both games and trade from there.
How do you trade in Soulsilver?
Go to the Pokemon Center. Go upstairs (not downstairs) and talk to the lady in the middle. She will bring you to a union room. There you can trade and battle.
