Can you counter a madness spell?
Casting a card with madness is just like casting an instant from your hand, except you pay the spell’s madness cost instead of its mana cost. It goes on the stack like any other spell and it can be countered like any other spell. Madness works no matter why you’re discarding the card.
Can you cast Madness cards at instant speed?
Yes, it does. It replaces the act of discarding the card to removing it from the game and allowing you to cast it for the madness cost. If it didn’t let you cast it at “instant speed” you would never be able to cast it because it tells you to cast the card in the middle of the Madness trigger.
Do madness cards go to graveyard?
When you play a card with madness, it still counts as being discarded, but it doesn’t actually get to your graveyard before you play it. That means your opponent can’t remove it “in response” to stop you from playing the spell with something like Cremate or Steamclaw.

Those days are over. Up to now, we only have access to three colorless legendary Eldrazi: Kozilek, Butcher of Truth, Ulamog, the Ceaseless Hunger and Ulamog, the Infinite Gyre. The three are good, but in my opinion, Ulamog, the Ceaseless Hunger stands as the best commander.

Since this is a tribal deck, all of the colorless Eldrazi creatures are included, no matter if they are “weaker” (if we can consider an Eldrazi weak). Up to now, there are 13 creatures and a commander, for a total of 14.
