Can you not transfer legendary Pokemon?
You can only transfer Legendary Pokémon to Sword and Shield if you’ve already obtained them in that game, so don’t get your hopes up if you’re just trying to quickly complete your Pokédex.
Can you mass transfer Pokémon GO?
To transfer multiple Pokémon at once: From the Map View, tap the Main Menu button. Tap the Pokémon button. Tap and hold until the Pokémon is selected. Tap any other Pokémon you’d like to transfer.
Why can’t I transfer shiny Pokémon?
You’re unable to transfer multiple Shiny Pokémon, Lucky Pokémon, or Buddy Pokémon with whom you’ve reached Good Buddy status or above at a time. Additionally, certain Legendary and some Mythical Pokémon (e.g. Mew, Celebi) are not able to be selected for transfer.

These generally return from time to time, so transferring them, while I don’t recommend it, you can do it. However, DO NOT TRANSFER A SHINY POKÉMON! Shiny Pokémon are extremely rare (1/450 chance) and have serious trade value. In other words, you will probably never find another one, so don’t.
Can I transfer legendary Pokémon from go to sword?
They will remain on Pokémon Home, and you can only send them to any of the primary Pokémon games. For example, transferring your Mewtwo from Pokémon Go will be able to go to Pokémon Sword and Shield, and you can use it over there as much as you’d like.
Can I get back a Pokémon I accidentally transferred?
You’ll receive Candy in exchange for transferring a Pokémon, but be careful: you can’t get Pokémon back after you’ve transferred them.
Is it good to transfer Pokémon to the professor?
(Hat tip to @CreativiTimothy) for sharing this in the comments. Transfering to the Professor is a way of permanently removing a Pokemon from your inventory. In exchange for a transfer, the Professor will give you some Candies, that can be used to power up and evolve a Pokemon.
