Can you target nothing MTG?
Yes, you have to choose a target. If your opponent has no artifacts, you’ll end up destroying one of your own. Only if there are no artifacts on the battlefield are you allowed to not choose anything.
Can you target creatures in magic?
No, you cannot. You can only attack a player, or a planeswalker he or she controls. 508.1. First, the active player declares attackers.
Can multiple creatures block one attacker?
Each creature can only block a single attacker, but the defending player may choose to block an attacking creature with more than one creature. Both players are given a chance to cast instants and activate abilities after blockers have been declared.
Can a creature with hexproof become a target?
A creature with Hexproof cannot become the target of spells or abilities your opponents control. You may target it with your own spells and abilities as normal. Just as Shroud, Hexproof by itself doesn’t save the creature from taking damage or getting destroyed.
Are there any permanent spells that have targets?
These are the only permanent spells with targets. An Aura’s target is specified by its enchant keyword ability (see rule 702.5, “ Enchant ”). The target (s) are chosen as the spell is cast; see rule 601.2c. An Aura permanent doesn’t target anything; only the spell is targeted.
How is a triggered ability targeted in RuneScape?
115.1d A triggered ability is targeted if it identifies something it will affect by using the phrase “target [something],” where the “something” is a phrase that describes an object, player, or zone. The target (s) are chosen as the ability is put on the stack; see rule 603.3d.
When is an object not a target in RuneScape?
Just because an object or player is being affected by a spell or ability doesn’t make that object or player a target of that spell or ability. Unless that object or player is identified by the word “target” in the text of that spell or ability, or the rule for that keyword ability, it’s not a target. 115.10b.
