You can never take more than one armor or invulnerable save, but you can take more than one “Feel no Pain”-style save (i.e. the Iron Hands Chapter Tactics combined with the Warlord trait that lets you ignore wounds on a 6+).

Can a player take both a cover and an invulnerable save?
In the rule book under saving ( pg 24) throws its talking about a space marine Chaplin who is hit with a weapon that ignores his Armor, he has an invulnerable save, and he’s in cover. So the book talks about he cannot take both the cover and invulnerable save. So I understand that as a player cannot have layers of protection.
