What happens if Player 2 doesn’t say Uno?
In order to call out Player2 and force him to draw cards for not saying ‘UNO’, Player 1 would have had to say it directly after his second to last card was played (touched the discard pile) but before he started to play his last card. Incredibly short, but possible. The official rules seem to create a conflict. Reverse works like Skip.
Why do you have to say Uno before you play a card?
A house rule I have used in the past is to allow the player to say UNO before they play their card since the rule appears to be set up as a way to let the other players know you only have 1 card left and it really doesn’t matter if that happens before you play your card or as you play your card. – Joe W Apr 9 ’13 at 14:14.
