Does Combat Celebrant untap itself?

While a single Combat Celebrant wouldn’t untap itself, another Combat Celebrant could untap it. If you controlled four, they would essentially all untap each other.

Can you exert Combat Celebrant multiple times?

Combat Celebrant can be exerted multiple times per turn with vigilance #3345.

How does Combat Celebrant work?

If you exert Combat Celebrant, you get an additional combat phase even if Combat Celebrant doesn’t survive the first combat phase. If you exert multiple Combat Celebrants in one combat phase, you’ll have that many additional combat phases, but all of your creatures are untapped only during the current combat phase.

Does helm of the host trigger enter the battlefield?

Yes! Tokens still enter the battlefield, thus triggering any abilities that would normally occur.

How does exert work MTG?

Description. When a creature with the exert ability is exerted, then an ability is triggered and the creature doesn’t untap at the beginning of its controller’s next untap step. Can you exert a creature twice?

701.37b A permanent can be exerted even if it’s not tapped or has already been exerted in a turn. If you exert a permanent more than once before your next untap step, each effect causing it not to untap expires during the same untap step.

Is exerting an activated ability?

Any abilities that trigger on exerting an attacking creature will resolve before blockers are declared. Some cards in the Hour of Devastation set that let you exert a creature let you do so as a cost of an activated ability. Some cards have abilities that trigger whenever you exert any creature.

Can you exert with summoning sickness?

In short, it does not. Summoning sickness works as you describe and other activated abilities can be activated immediately.

Can you exert a tapped creature?

You can’t exert a creature unless an effect allows you to do so. Similar effects that “tap and freeze” a creature (such as that of Decision Paralysis) don’t exert that creature.

Can you exert a creature with vigilance?

Exert is basically free when the creature has Vigilance.
