This game includes 168 cards, one six-sided die, and these rules. Three to six can play. You will need 10 tokens (coins, poker chips, whatever – or any gadget that counts to 10) for each player. Divide the cards into the Door deck and the Treasure deck.
How does charity work in Munchkin?
In the charity phase of munchkin when you have to reduce your hand to 5 cards. A rule states: Charity: If you have more than five cards in your hand, you must play enough cards to get you to five or below. If you cannot, or do not want to, you must give the excess cards to the player with the lowest Level.
Is there a hand limit in Munchkin?
Hand (i.e. cards you have in your hand and not placed on the table) limit is usually 5 cards at the end of your turn. During “Charity”, you reduce your hand to its limit (which means that you can start a turn with more cards than allowed at the end of your turn).

Is Munchkin a good game?
Munchkin is a ton of fun, and great to play when you aren’t trying to be all serious. I very much enjoy munchkin. To give you an idea of my boardgaming tastes, my two favorite games are probably Mage Knight and Arkham Horror.
Can you mix Munchkin expansions?
Munchkin Expansions You can mix and match expansions with the base set whichever way you’d like. However one thing to note is that the more expansions you add to one game the more complicated the game could get.
What do you put at the end of a Munchkin card?
There are official errata for two cards as a result of this rule: Death-Touch (from Munchkin Fu ): At the end of this card, add “You do not get any rewards for that monster unless you defeat all remaining monsters.” Churninator (from Munchkin Cthulhu ): Add “unless this would give you the winning level” at the end of the first sentence.
Can you have more than one class in Munchkin?
You are allowed to discard your class card at any time in gameplay. You can belong to multiple classes unless you have the Super Munchkin card in play. Characters have different races: human, elves, halflings, and dwarves. If you do not have a race card you are a human. The rules for class apply.
How are the characters chosen in the Munchkin game?
Characters are either male or female, the sex of which is chosen at your discretion. Examine your 8 cards you start with, if it includes a Race or Class card place it in front of you on the table. Also, if you have items you may play them by placing them in front of you. Pick the player who goes first by rolling the dice.
How do you gain levels in Munchkin the card game?
You can gain levels by killing monsters or if a card directs. You can also lose levels if a card says so, however, you can never go below Level 1. Combat strength can go negatve if you are it by a curse. Characters can be Wizards, Warlords, Thieves, or Clerics.
