How many players do you need for Munchkin?
Munchkin was made for 3-6 players and it is recommended for 4 players. That being said, I have played with only 2 players and I can say that it is not that fun because the game mechanics don’t work out as well.
Is Munchkin hard to play?

You can combine any of the sets. The biggest problem comes from deck dilution. Your best bet will always be to play one of the base sets, along with any of its expansions, e.g. Vanilla/Fantasy Munchkin, the Munchkin Cthulhu sets, etc… You can mix anything together though.

Can you play Dixit with 8 players?

Each team takes a voting board and then places the rabbit of the corresponding color on the 0 space of the scoreboard. The 84 image cards are shuffled and 4 are dealt to each player.

Munchkin is not a CCG, you don’t “build” a deck to compete against other players. All players draw from the shared deck. You’d only add one of each expansion to the main game, so there is no worry about duplicate cards either. You just add all the cards and the deck gets bigger, you don’t weed out any existing cards.
