As far as I am aware Battlefield 5 does not have splitscreen. Even though there is a 4 player co-op mode again Battlefield 5 does not have splitscreen (as far as I am aware). As for why its the simple answer of most people don’t splitscreen anymore so developers don’t feel the need to put it in their games.
