Is Final Fantasy 13 linear?
Final Fantasy XIII is (by concept) to a large degree a strictly linear game. Most of the time (with the exceptions given below), the levels are a simple “tunnel” with no forks. You will only be able to stray off the path for some meters to find hidden treasure spheres or optional enemies.
Are Fang and Vanille dead?
Vanille and Fang disappear, leaving the portal to lead Serah to Noel. After missing her chance to apologize to Serah for her role in Serah’s transformation into a l’Cie, Fang does so and vows she and Vanille will repay their debts by holding up Cocoon. She tells Serah to help Lightning and deal with Caius.
How hard is ff13?
No it’s not hard you just have to do more than push the attack button. Biggest factor in its difficulty is that it doesn’t play like any other final fantasy game. I had an easier time with the sequels, but still cannot get the hang of combat in xiii.
Is ff10 linear?
FFX is fairly unashamedly linear. Near the end of the game there’s several sidequests you can undertake for ultimate weapons, bonus bosses, etc., but it’s largely linear.
