The legendary and powerful Ice-Type Bird Articuno is found in the Seafoam Islands, but you’ll need a lot more preparation, planning, and work to catch it than most other Pokemon. Once you find the Legendary Bird, you’ve only got one chance to capture it, so make sure it counts.

You can catch Articuno in seafoam islands at level 50. Bring Pokemon that are level 40 and that can make Articuno go to sleep. Get it in the red section then start chucking ultra balls at it. It took me about 30 ultra balls and I caught it on my last one.
