Can Breloom learn spore Emerald?
Breloom can’t learn spore so I have to keep it a shroomish until level 52 but breloom learns mach punch at 26(ish). How can I get it to learn both? This is gen 3 btw.

Is Spore overpowered?
That only proves how OP Spore is, though. Granted seeing some Pokemon like Kyurem-B run it as filler is pretty cool when it actually works. Spore is the most overpowered move in the entire freaking game.

Breloom can only learn Spore as a Shroomish, so you’d have to wait until it learns it before evolving it.

- Talonflame as it outspeeds and OHKOes with Brave Bird or any half decent Flying attack.
- Any faster Flying Type with Flying STAB beats it basically.
- Sableye has access to Prankster + Taunt + Will-O-Wisp which shuts down Spore and Swords Dance and halves Breloom’s attack.
Is Spore a good Pokemon?
Spore is rare, and is usually on pretty mediocre Pokemon. Amoongus being a fairly good Pokemon with Spore is huge. Lots of Pokemon can learn Toxic. Honestly, if you want a Grass/Poison type to learn Toxic, use Venusaur.
