What type is recover?
Recover is a Normal-type move introduced in Generation I. It heals up to 50% of the user’s HP. It is identical to Soft-Boiled and Milk Drink.
How do I teach Quagsire recovery?
In order to get it, you must have a female quagsire/wooper. The male pokemon you use MUST know recover or else it won’t learn it. Egg moves are from the male pokemon while the female one determines what pokemon comes out. Check out the egg groups and see what pokemon can breed with quagsire that also knows recover.
Is recover a good move?
In general recover is a very useful move, competitively especially, in game for saving money. But it is in no way required or needed in game. And only depending on type off game you want to play competitively will decide whether recover is useful to you.

Who is better gyarados or Quagsire?
Keep Gyarados for Physical Water (Waterfall), keep Quagsire for Special Water (Surf). Even without ANY levels, Gyarados is going to be a better member than your current weakest link, since he allows you to guarantee wins against ANY physical attacker, so long as you have Revives.
Is wooper better than Quagsire?
Wooper improves greatly when it evolves into quagsire. I thought the same thing when I started using wooper. I was just about to take it off my team when it evolved. It’s really great because electric type moves don’t affect it, and it’s super effective against fire, rock, poison, ground, and steel.
