How do you type special characters in WoW?
Here’s How: Alt-21 will get you §. So holding Alt down with my left hand, I type in the number sequence on the number pad with my right. Once I lift up the alt key (after finishing the number sequence) the special character appears. I have tested this in World of Warcraft on my PC.

Can u put symbols in riot ID?
All you need to do to add them to your name is left-click the character on the website. This will copy that character. After that, when you go to make your Riot ID, you can paste the character into your Riot ID with no issue.
