What are Holo cards?
A holo card is a rare card that has a holographic image at the top of the card instead of regular art. Its rarity is indicated by a ★ next to its card number. Holo cards have appeared in every set from the original base set released in 1999.
Are all holographic Pokemon cards worth anything?
“Holo” cards have a shiny, foil layer over the Pokémon artwork, while “Reverse Holo” cards are shiny everywhere around the artwork. This doesn’t automatically make it valuable, but a rare holo (or reverse holo) is definitely worth setting aside.
Are all rare Pokemon cards holo?

How much does a holo card cost?
When using a HOLO card, paying fare for two trips automatically grants you a daily pass. Individual trips are still $2.75 each. If you do not have a HOLO card, each bus trip, including transfers, will cost $2.75 in cash, exact change only. TheBus will no longer be handing out paper day passes, so you must pay each way.
Is HOLO card free?
Every time you pay for your fare, your money goes toward a pass. For example, if an adult rider uses $5.50 of fare on their HOLO Card each day, by the 13th day they will have spent $70 (the cost of an Adult monthly pass). Now they will ride for free for the rest of the month.
Is HOLO card transferable?
A rider may transfer from one bus to another without paying an additional fare during a 2.5-hour period following the initial tap of the HOLO card. The transfers will benefit riders who need to take two buses within the 2.5-hour time frame.
