“Flickering” removes all counters and auras from a creature, and makes it dodge targeted removal if a spell “flickering” that creature is played in response to the removal spell targeting it.

If Dreadful Apathy leaves the battlefield while its last ability is on the stack, the permanent that’s exiled is the one Dreadful Apathy enchanted before leaving the battlefield, even if that permanent is no longer a creature.
Can Yorion exile itself?
You can’t exile permanents you control but don’t own, or permanents that you own but don’t control. Auras attached to the exiled permanents will be put into their owners’ graveyards. Equipment attached to the exiled permanents will become unattached and remain on the battlefield.

Essence Drain duration is actually better than damage in some cases, particularly when dealing with monoliths, as it allows your Essence Drain to bounce for longer and propagate throughout the entire pack. We still recommend the damage enchant for all-round purposes, but the disparity is smaller than in previous leagues.
