Prophet of Kruphix will almost certainly never be unbanned because the Rules Committee is extremely reluctant to unban anything. Now, that’s not to say the Rules Committee has never unbanned cards.

Is Mana vaults untap an activated ability?

Mana Vault has a triggered ability that triggers only once during your upkeep. Furthermore, Power Artifact only reduces the costs of activating activated abilities, and the untap ability of Mana Vault is not even an activated ability, so the effect of Power Artifact on Mana Vault can be summarized as “zilch”.

Can you untap Time Vault?

Why is Stax hated?

They are hated because they stop people from doing the things they want to do with their deck. Lots of players (I might even go so far as to say most casual players) play EDH to experience their decks coming together and operating as a cohesive strategy. The whole point of stax is to make it harder to do that.

Why did Prophet of Kruphix get banned?

It was banned for a reason. Mostly because it allowed Simic decks to do what it wanted to do very efficiently. When it hit the battlefield it was a must answer card otherwise the game would get out of hand rather quickly.
