There’s no need to carry every type of Pokemon as a growing collection in your bag – that’s what the Pokedex is for. It’s better to keep only the Pokemon you need: that’s an army to fight with in Gym and Raid battles.

Your Pokémon will not be lost forever. If you deposit more than 30 Pokémon in your Basic Box in Pokémon HOME while you have the Premium Plan, and your plan then changes to the no-cost Basic Plan, you will not be able to view or withdraw any Pokémon beyond the 30th Pokémon you deposited in your Basic Box.
Can you get rid of Pokemon?
In order to get rid of a Pokemon, put the desired Pokemon into a PC Box in the Poke`mon Center. Select the Poke`mon and there should be the option called “Release”. It will release the Poke`mon and say: “Released [Poke`mon’s Name]. Bye [Poke`mon’s Name]!”

Why can’t I transfer all my Pokemon from Pokemon home?
Before you can transfer a critter from Pokémon GO, you’ll need to have either caught it or registered it in your Pokémon Home pokédex. This means that if you’ve obtained a rare Legendary in Pokémon GO that impossible to find in your other games, it cannot be transferred.
