Can you catch both latias and Latios in Emerald?
If one has the standard version of Pokémon Emerald (genuine copy, no Nintendo events, etc.), then one can only catch either Latios or Latias, not both. After becoming the Champion, you are taken back to your room in your house in Littleroot Town.
Can you solo latias?
Latias can have boss CP up to around 48,000 – meaning this isn’t a solo-friendly raid. In fact, in an ideal world you’re going to need at least three to four players with optimal Pokemon stats and counters, but in real terms this is a raid designed for a lot of players to take on at once.

Latias is countered in the same way as a Latios, but as it doesn’t have Solar Beam, Outrage is considered it’s most dangerous move set. A minimum of 3-5 players are required to defeat Latias, but we recommend 7 or more — as it’s not an easy fight.
Is Latios or latias harder to raid?
The creature apparently has a higher defense than Latios, which means that it will take a bigger group of Pokemon GO trainers to defeat than Latios. The players reported that Latias raids require similar numbers to Ho-Oh, Groudon, or Kyogre. That’s definitely a little tougher than we’ve gotten used to with Latios.
