Who controls enchantment?
The controller of an enchantment is different from the controller of the object the enchantment is attached to (if it is an aura). The player who put the enchantment onto the battlefield, either my resolving it as a spell or by some other means, is its controller.
Do enchantments remain on creatures?
It remains on the battlefield. If an Aura says “Enchant Creature” on it, that means it can only be attached to creatures. So if it finds itself attached to a non-creature artifact instead, that’s illegal, and it’s put into its owner’s graveyard.

But in general, the creature doesn’t become a different object since it is not changing zones, so it keeps Auras, counters, continuous effects that still apply, etc. and do i have control of that aura/equipment as well?

What makes a creature an enchantment in Magic The Gathering?
This means that when you cast it you have the option to pay its Bestow cost and when you do that you cast just like an Aura picking a Creature for it to Enchant. When it is an Aura the Creature it is attached to is the “Enchanted Creature”, it is never an “Enchanted Creature” if it is not attached to anything and is just an Enchantment Creature.
